Movie review: Glory Road
The movie Glory Road is inspired by a true story of the underdog Texas Western basketball team. The first time African American starting lineup of players, who surprisingly won the 1966 NCAA tournament title. Racial integration was just beginning but Haskins, (Josh Lucas) a dedicated college basketball coach, changed the history of basketball with his team’s victory. Haskins is the coach who teaches his players about values as well as technique, gathering them from different backgrounds into a team.
