50 Cent

Variety reports that Nicolas Cage and Hip-Hop celebrity 50 Cent have agreed to star in The Dance, a film telling the story of prison boxing coach Billy “The Kid” Roth. The movie is about a prizefighter who spent more than four decades as a volunteer coach in Lousiana state prisons, in which Cage will take the role of Roth and Hip-Hop star 50 Cent will play an inmate in whom Roth sees potential, event thought he is serving a life sentence. The movie - The Dance - will be based on a documentary directed by John Darling Haynes in 2003, on which Cage acted as an executive producer.

This will probable be the second major movie in which the Hip-Hop star 50 Cent will appear since the release of his debut, Get Rich or Die Tryin’. In other movie news, 50 Cent is also set to appear in Home of the Brave in which also stars actor Samuel L. Jackson.
