Gladiator adapted into a musical
According to the news, ‘Gladiator’ is apparently set to be adapted into a musical to be shown at London’s West End. The script follows the story of legendary gladiator Maximus Decimus Meridius, played by Russell Crowe in the Hollywood film and it is currently being re-written for the stage by William Nicholson. It seems the musical will reportedly use the film’s score and Broadway regular Brian Stokes Mitchell will most likely take the leading role.
