Gwen Stefani ‘Baby Doll’ Second Movie Role

According to moviehole.net, the singer turned fashion designer Gwen Stefani is in talks to play the lead in a remake of the 1956 Baby Doll, after previously has starred in The Aviator playing screen legend Jean Harlow. In the movie, originally made in 1956 starring Carroll Baker and Karl Malden, Gwen Stefani will play a gorgeous young woman who promises her failed businessman husband that their marriage will be consummated a year from their nuptials, though in nowadays it just seems absurd.
Although the movie was controversial in its time, the original Baby Doll was nominated for four Oscars including Best Screenplay, Best Black-and-White Cinematography and Best Actress for Carroll Baker in the title role.

Babydoll is a girl who is 20 but looks even younger! Gwen is hot an loves dressing like a baby but she is just too old for this role. NEED SOME ONE AROUND 17 OR 18 who has a young babyish look! will this movie take place in our time or in the time period of the novel? i always though the part in the orginal with babydoll in the crib sucking her thumb in the PJs was a classic innocent an sexy seen!!!
