Hollywood actor Brad Pitt signs for State of Play
According to The BBC, writer Paul Abbott has announced that the Hollywood actor Brad Pitt will play journalist Cal McCaffrey in the film version of the BBC’s award-winning 2003 mini-series political drama “State of Play”. Pitt will be playing journalist Cal McCaffrey, a role originally played by British actor John Simm who will uncover a conspiracy surrounding the death of researched for a high profile politician. No other details are known. In other Celebrity news, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are currently in India filming a new movie, A Mighty Heart. Days ago the Hollywood couple made a $100,000 donation in the memory of American Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl through the recently formed Jolie-Pitt Foundation.
