Steve Irwin’s Daughter Bindi Filming Own Show

According to the news, Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin 8-year-old daughter, Bindi Irwin is currently shooting her own show “Bindi, The Jungle Girl.” In the documentary for the Discovery Kids network Bindi will not be alonge as scenes filmed before his father death will appear in the show.
The show is set to debut in January 2007 and Bindi, The Jungle Girl features animated shots of Bindi and Steve Irwin in a jungle, with a theme song with lyrics. Meanwhile, Bindi gave a moving tribute to her father at his Sept. 20 memorial service and presented an award at the Oct. 11 Nickelodeon Australian Kids’ Choice Awards 2006.
I’m trying to get across the message that don’t be afraid of animals, they’re just put on this earth to help the environment and everything like that. Bindi the Jungle Girl is really lucky because she lives in a tree-house and she gets lots of animals in and out. She hangs out with lots of wildlife. She just loves kissing a koala or hugging a snake.

Hey Bindi! I have always loved animales. When I was 3 years old I picked up my first garden snake with my dad. I was so excited. As I watch that video tape of me picking the Gardener Snake up. I always think of the word CRIKEY. I also think of you, your brother, and your mom. I asked my ad what do you think it’s like to be an Irwin. My dad said just like our life. Full of experiance with animales. For my first job when I am old enough to move out, I want to become apart of the Austrailia Zoo. And still to this day I use the word CRIKEY.
Thank you Jessica Niedermaier

Hi Bindi, I’m Michael. I’m five years old so my Mom is typing this for me. First of all I am sorry about your dad. My whole family loved him very much and we still think of him and pray for all of you all the time. My Mom sends her warmest regards especially to your mom. I am also writing because you are an inspiration to me, as I want to be an “animal rescuer” when I grow up. I love all animals and like reptiles the best. One day, my family wants to visit Austrailia and definitely go to Austrailia Zoo. Thank you for being a Wildlife Warrior and taking care of the animals.
