Earlier this month, the news broke that Joss Whedon was off Wonder Woman. Apparently Warner Brothers had bought up someone else’s script, and planned to start making the movie. Now that the roadblock Whedon is out of the way, maybe we’ll finally get to enjoy the movie. I mean, I like this guy’s work, but he has had the project in his course for 2 years. I guess God gave him plenty of time to do something with it, and he didn’t.
With Whedon out of the way, the rumor machine just started. One of the names on Warner’s shopping list, it’s in my humble opinion one of the best choices they could make. There are rumors that the “Casino Royale” star, Eva Green may be up for the part of the Amazonian superhero. But before you get too high about it remember that she is just one of the names on the little “black list”. The good news is that maybe someone will actually get the job this time.

As far as I’ve heard, Warner Brothers really want to get this movie made and I expect that things should be moving a little faster now that the Whedon roadblock is off. As for Eva Green, I think that she’s perfect for this part. She has the look, she has the physique, and the most important thing she can act. Don’t judge her too harshly for the disposable Bond babe thing in “Casino Royale“. Check out ” The Dreamers ” for another point of view. Anyway, if she doesn’t get the role she’ll always be Wonder Woman for some guys.
