Razzie Awards winners list topped by Sharon Stone’ Basic Instinct 2

The “winners” have been announced for this year Razzie awards and, for those not aware, the Razzies (or Golden Raspberry’s) are handed out the day before the Oscars each year and honor the worst of Hollywood. That being said this year’s worst achievements in film had been announced and the thriller sequel “Basic Instinct 2″ topped the list winning four Razzies: Worst Picture and Worst Actress for Sharon Stone, Worst Sequel and Worst Screenplay Awards. Among other “winners” were also The Wayans brothers’ “Little Man” picking up three awards for Worst Actor(s) and Worst Screen Couple.

I don’t like this at all. BI2 WAS NOT GOOD. No doubt about it. But at least it made sense and had SOME entertainment value. Catherine Trammel is a great character even if this movie was a rehash; and a not very good one at that.
HOWEVER, when a kid gets a grand idea by looking at some cereal boxes in a movie. Or where it was decided in said film to have a party with a band and the band had to consist of 3 members as a distraction against narfs all based off of one word in some random crossword puzzle because I guy says so. Then M. Night Shyamalan deserved the Razzie for worst picture. He didn’t deserve the worst supporting actor award he got.
If these paragraphs make little sense, that’s because they’re based off of Lady in the Water
