Daniel Craig

All is well when it’s ending well, that is the case with Pierce Brosnan who was offended and irritated after he was dropped by movie bosses at the last moment and was replaced with Daniel Craig for the famous role of James Bond. But that’s history! Reports say that Pierce Brosnan who played the notorious spy in four movies, has had a change of heard and has revealed Daniel Craig is the ultimate James Bond after seeing him in the latest Bond film. The actor watched his replacement Daniel Craig in new 007 movie ‘Casino Royale and admitted he is very proud and honoured by the producer’s choice, who also seemed to be very pleased with their choice as they have already signed up Daniel Craig for a second movie.

I’m proud and still honoured that I was a part of that legacy, but I thought Daniel was a great choice. He’s the greatest ever and deservedly so. As much of a shock and surprise it was to get the phone call, in the next breath it was a liberation. You get complacent having a role like that… Now I’m out there in the field, [and I can focus] my attention on what I want to do with my career.

Ryan Seacrest

As rumored Ryan Seacrest will be the host for the upcoming 59th annual Primetime Emmy Awards. It was officially confirmed yesterday by Dick Askin, the chairman of the Academy of Television Arts & Science. After a long debate they choose Ryan Seacrest in a hope that the event, which is less than a month away more precisely on Sept. 16, it will gain younger viewers. Last year’s Emmys was hosted on NBC by Conan O’Brien, and scored only 16.1 million viewers. Among nominations list, are HBO’s Sopranos which is the most-nominated series with 15 nons, while the movie Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee tops with 17 nominations for all programs.

Ryan Seacrest appeals to a broad audience, including the highly desirable young adult demographic, so he should serve as a magnet for attracting a diverse array of viewers to our Emmy telecast.
