Martin Scorsese

The famous movie director Martin Scorsese will direct a documentary film on the late Beatles guitarist George Harrison. Born in Liverpool, England, and the youngest of the Beatles, died at 58 in Los Angeles on November 29, 2001, after battling lung cancer and a brain tumor. Is not known yet other details about the documentary, but everyone knows the movie director is always doing his best. Harrison’s wife revealed that her husband would have been happy to hear that Scorsese has agreed to tell the wold his life story.

Scorsese has won his first Academy Award this year for directing “The Departed”. I am looking forward to see it especially that the veteran director has made a great job on other documentaries 2005’s “No Direction Home: Bob Dylan” and 1978’s “The Last Waltz.”

Harrison’s music and his search for spiritual meaning is a story that still resonates today and I’m looking forward to delving deeper.

Cameron Diaz

Is Cameron Diaz a talented actress or not? She is probable asking herself a lot lately because the actress who has just finished up shooting the fluff comedy “What Happens In Vegas,” is said to be turning all her attention to a role because represents a chance to prove her true acting skills. The Sun reports that Cameron Diaz was determined to take the “hard-hitting role as a woman whose life is ruined by botched cosmetic surgery.” Good looking actresses are concerned whether they are or not fully appreciate on the screen due to their pretty appearance. Anyway Cameron hopes this role will give her this opportunity and gain the same credibility and Oscar honor as Charlize Theron for her portrayal of a prostitute turned serial killer in the movie Monster. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see, though I can easily say she could win an Oscar but I’m not sure that it will happen with this role. Probable I am wrong, I’ll just have to see the movie to convince myself.

Cameron wants a serious role that isn’t about her looking cute and this role is just that, and much more. The character has terrible facial disfigurement which will require Cameron to sit through hours of make-up. It’s a really hard role and it’s going to be a big challenge for Cameron.
