It has already been revealed that US TV series Sex and the City will be turned into a movie because of the public demand. The cast of ‘Sex and the City,’ Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall, will reprise their roles while Michael Patrick King, who executive-produced the series, is set to direct the movie. According to the recent news, Jennifer Hudson will be joining the girls for a supporting role in the movie, will reportedly begin shooting on November with a release date set for next year. Jennifer Hudson will be playing Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker)’s personal assistant. The America Idol star will have to get used to play in the movies as she made waves with her amazing portrayal of Effie White in the movie “Dreamgirls”, a role which gave her an Oscar.
