George Clooney and Leonardo DiCaprio are two of Hollywood’s most politically active stars are in talks to team for a political thriller. Reports say Hollywood actor George Clooney will direct Leonardo DiCaprio in Farragut North, and both actors would also produce the Warner Bros film. The political thriller Farragut North is an adaptation of an upcoming Broadway play loosely based on Howard Dean’s 2004 presidential election campaign.

The Broadway upcoming play was written by Beau Willimon, who worked on the Dean campaign, directed by Mike Nichols and is set to open in fall 2008, just before the presidential election.
Anyway the main question is whether George Clooney busy schedule will allow him to be part of this movie. The actor’s latest movie in which he stars is “Michael Clayton,” and is earning rave reviews in limited release, while he continues to work on his latest directing project, “Leatherheads,” which will be released in April 2008. The Oscar winner is also expected to star in “White Jazz” next. Meanwhile, Leonardo DiCaprio has finished “Revolutionary Road” and he is currently shooting “Body of Lies”.
