Halle Berry ‘racism is still a problem in Hollywood’

Pregnant actress Halle Berry says racism is still a problem in Hollywood. The Oscar winning actress, whose father is African-American, says it is more difficult for her to find roles because of the color of her skin. Not long ago Demi Moore was complaining against ageism in an interview with Red magazine, where she admitted that at her age, there aren’t many good roles for older women like her. Hollywood is so obsessed with youth, and the movie roles for women like her have no substance, and have to get used to play as someone’s mother or wife. Anyway the idea is actress has no reason to slam Hollywood. Good or bad, Demi and Halle are among those most famous Hollywood stars.
In other Celebrity news, the pregnant star Halle Berry said she plans to be a working mother and she will return into acting right after the baby is born. And that is not all, Halle is currently learning French so she can talk to her baby in its father’s native tongue.
I shouldn’t have had to try so hard to be considered. I should have to stop convincing studios I am right for it – it should be on my acting merit. Not having a chance is what I cant live with at this point in my career, I think I have earned that.
