Britney Spears’ 70-minute documentary, Britney: For the Record, was watched by more than 3.7 million viewers in its debut run on MTV over the week, the network announced Monday. It’s not such a surprise if you came to think about that she is one of the most searched celebrity in the world. She recently reigned the top spot in the Yahoo! search engine this year and has been the most popular search term at Yahoo for seven of the past eight years.

In other Celebrity news, Britney Spears will continue with promoting her sixth studio album, Circus, by appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this Thursday, December 4. The album, Circus arrives in stores just in time for Britney’s 27th birthday tomorrow, meaning today.

The video is just a sneak peek, MTV will actually air a 90-minute documentary about Britney Spears’s return to the pop-music scene. Titled “For the Record,” the documentary is set to air on November 30 at 10PM on MTV, just two days before her album Circus is due to be released - on December 2 (her 27th birthday). Britney Spears wants people to know more about her, that is why she wanted to make this film because she started to feel like she wasn’t being seen in the light that she wanted to be seen in.
