Although Jennifer Lopez hasn’t signed a deal yet, John Travolta has been offered the starring role of J.R., Luke Wilson is in talks to play Bobby and Shirley MacLaine could play Miss Ellie. Unfortunately, the film shooting couldn’t start until Travolta makes his next movie, the big screen version of the Broadway musical “Hairspray.”

According to news, television series currently showing on BBC2 - Family Guy is going to be turned into a series of video games. 2K Games yesterday announced its plans to develop and publish a series of Family Guy (DVDs) video games starting with a current-generation game being released in Autumn of this year. 2K Games will work closely with Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane on series of video games, which will feature all your favourite characters plus locations seen in the TV show.

The pop singer is said to play super-bitch Alexis - a role made famous by Joan Collins - in the Hollywood version of the classic show. Victoria Beckham is said to have won the role after her pals Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes recommended her to ‘Dynasty’ creator Aaron Spelling.

Film bosses reportedly think the pop singer has the “British style and sass” needed for the film, which is about a wealthy Denver oil family. Other celebrities like pop star Jessica Simpson and actor Bruce Willis are also considered to star in the new film.
