Electronic Arts launches The Godfather Game

The Godfather

Electronic Arts Inc. launched the long-awaited video game which based on the popular “Godfather” films. The game retails for $40 which is now in U.S. stores, and will debut in Europe on March 24.
The game, created via a licensing relationship with Viacom Inc. affiliates Paramount Pictures and Viacom Consumer Products, is available PS2, Xbox and PC; the Xbox 360 and PlayStation Portable editions are still under development. The Godfather game, inspired by the Mario Puzo book and the 1972 Paramount Pictures film, puts you at the centre of the action surrounding the Corleone family, and features some of the voices of the original actors.

PlayStation 3 in delay!

Variety posted an article this week detailing Sony CEO Howard Stringer reports about an official release date for the PlayStation 3, as well as the company’s plans to introduce BluRay. Accoding to the information we won’t see PlayStation 3 this spring, the much-anticipated console will arrive until fall.

Sony’s new PlayStation 3 was widely expected to be introduced this spring, but will be delayed as the company fine-tunes the chips that are crucial to the success of the console’s Blu-ray function.

GPS and Email for Sony Playstation Portable

This year the Playstation Portable will be adding Email support and GPS according to American Playstation Magazine. According to the news, Email will happen through Sony Mail and each user can create a unique ID name that corresponds with their unique PSP ID number and will be used to login to the mail system. Users will not have to access a website to check their mail. The GPS system will exist from an UMD with the necessary cards and software and a USB receiver to locate your position.
