Ice Age: The Meltdown is a real joy with great jokes, the story moves very quickly and the animation is stylish. The animated comedy Ice Age was about three prehistoric animals who become unlikely friends: Manny the woolly mammoth (Ray Romano), Sid the sloth (John Leguizamo) and Diego the sabre-toothed tiger (Denis Leary).

Scrat, who was in Ice Age for less than five minutes, had now a bigger role in the sequel Ice Age: The Meltdown. Once again Scrat opens the film, but this time every 15 minutes or so he’s back with another death-defying attempt to get that elusive acorn. Scrat appearances are crucial in the sequel, and considering how the movie ended will sure have a strong role in a third Ice Age.

Paul Verhoeven directed the original Basic Instinct, a psychological thriller released in 1992 with Michael Douglas and Sharon Stone. Stone played a seductive killer and Douglas was the only cop who suspected her, not that this helped him resist her charms.

Basic Instinct 2, Sharon Stone talks dirty, wears great clothes, kills people and seems to spend more time talking about it than doing it in the movie which makes it boring. Basic Instinct 2 sequel begins with Stone driving her sports car off a bridge during wild sex, an accident that proves to be a well-planned murder.

The police investigation that follows the accident puts Catherine against a big psychiatrist, played by David Morrissey, who is fascinated by her. Their game of cat and mouse and seduction begins. Not my type of movie perhaps because I am not a fan of Sharon Stone.

The movie Eight Below is a story of survival, friendship, and adventure which starts in the extreme wilderness of Antarctica with Jerry Shepard (Paul Walker) and his best friend Cooper (Jason Biggs). Jerry works as a survival guide along with his beloved team of sled dogs. An American geologist named Davis (Bruce Greenwood) requires Jerry’s guide services on a scientific research mission. During the mission, the sled dogs are heroes — helping Davis survive the rough Antarctic terrain.

Overall, Eight Below is a good movie that you can enjoy, with a beautiful scenery and scenes of the stranded dogs were done very well, of course the action and suspense are found throughout the movie.
