Guardian Ublimited named an expert panel to decide their top 10 Sci-Fi films. More or less I agree with the order of the films but the Sci-Fi movie fans me notice that some like: Stalker, Planet of the Apes , Spaceballs, Tron or Silent Running are not there, but even so the list, with some small modification or not, may be taken as a good one.

Fans of the original Star Wars series should know that due to the huge demand, Lucasfilm Ltd. and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will release on DVD the original version of “Star Wars” (1977), “The Empire Strikes Back” (1980) and “Return of the Jedi” (1983). The new DVDs are set to be released September 12 and will only be available up to December 31. Star Wars fans also should know that alongside the new DVDs release will also be the 2004 restored versions.

We returned to the Lucasfilm Archives to search exhaustively for source material that could be presented on DVD. This is something that we’re very excited to be able to give to fans in response to their continuing enthusiasm for Star Wars.

The Aeon Flux movie is a surprisingly good sci-fi adventure where Aeon’s played by Oscar-winner Charlize Theron, who catches all the atention with her coordination, flexibility, and strength even if her costumes covers a lot of her skin.

Aeon Flux is about the last remaining human city on the planet. In 2011, a virus killed all but 5 million people, who were saved by Trevor Goodchild and moved into the walled city of Bregna (like a perfect city) where no one ever will be allowed outside the city walls.
